Death is the Gate to the Light at the End of a Painful Path.

With deep regret we learned about the death of Pat Szymanski.

Pat lost her struggle against cancer on 10 November 2007. Many of us have known Pat as the President of the "Japanese Akita Club of America" and as a indefatigable fighter for the separation of the breed Akita in the USA. Some of us had the pleasure to spend a lot of happy hours with her at different places of the world on the occasion of the WUAC meetings. The Akita community will never forget Pat Szymanski and will remember her with great fondness!
