W.U.A.C. - World Union of Akita Clubs

Welcome to the website of the World Union of Akita Clubs!

The WUAC is the confederation of kennel clubs of the FCI countries for Akita.

The target of the W.U.A.C. is the internationale cooperation of Akita lovers worldwide.

These targets are related to:

• common canine activities around the race Akita
• dissemination of information from the origin country Japan, to clarify the characteristics of this race.
  This applies to both, the historical development of the breed, as well as to the correct interpretation of the standard.
• Organization of additional courses by Japanese experts on judging and breeding of the race.
• Closer cooperation among all countries, represented in the FCI, for the benefit of the Akita.
• Projects and research to maintain the health of the breed (1. research project of Akita SA occurence)
